With patients' needs at the heart of everything we do, our website has been designed to make it easy for you to gain instant access to the information you need. As well as specific practice details such as opening hours and how to register, you’ll find a wealth of useful pages covering a wide range of health issues along with links to other relevant medical organisations.

The Surgery will be closed on the afternoon of Thursday, 4th April 2019 for staff training.  Cover arrangements are in place for patients who require advice or who need to see a doctor.

For urgent medical problems please call 111.

In an emergency please call 999.

For all other queries, including prescription requests and collection, please contact the Surgery tomorrow morning from 8.30am.

New Doctor

We are delighted to welcome Dr Sarah Stonehewer and Dr Andrew Valentine to the Practice. Dr Stonehewer will have surgeries on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and Dr Valentine on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Patients can choose to see any doctor they wish. All doctors working at the surgery can access your medical record and discuss your care with your regular doctor, so if you need an appointment soon and your regular doctor is not available do not hesitate to book an appointment with another doctor.

Suggestions and Feedback

Please contact Jackie Hannam, Practice Manager, if you wish to discuss any matters relating to the Surgery.  Tel: 01865 311234 or e-mail:

Text and Email Services

It is very important that we have up to date contact details for you to be able to communicate electronically with you to confirm appointments etc.  Please do complete a contact details update on the online services. We also need to have your consent to use text messages and emails to communicate with you.  For further information please do contact Reception.

Online Services

We are keen to support people to register for online services. Please come to the Practice with photographic ID and proof of address and the Practice will issue you with information on how to access the online services.  This will allow you to book appointments on-line, order repeat prescriptions quickly and track their progress, view test results as soon as they are available, check your medical records or vaccinations, and more. It is more efficient for us, as well as more convenient for you.

Get Well, Keep Well

Of course we’re not just here for when you are unwell. Our team of healthcare professionals and back-up staff offer a number of clinics and services to promote good health and well being whatever your medical condition.

The Health Centre is located entirely on the ground floor and the automatic external and internal doors are wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair.

Doctors in Training and Medical Students

Please note that we do have qualified doctors who are in training in the Practice.  We also have medical students from time to time.  They receive supervision from a qualified GP whilst at the Practice.

GP Earnings

All GP practices are required to declare the mean earnings (e.g. average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice.

The average pay for GPs working in Jericho Health Centre in the last financial year was £77,438 before tax and National Insurance.

This is for 2 full time GP’s and 2 part time GPs who worked in the practice for more than six months.
