Patients may make an appointment (to see any one of the Practice GPs) by telephoning or attending reception between 08:30 and 18:00 Monday to Friday. Appointments are normally scheduled during the periods from 08:30 to 12pm and from 14:30 to 17:30. We offer pre-bookable late surgeries on Wednesday and Thursday evenings for working patients who are unable to attend during the day.

The time allocated for a normal GP appointment is 15 minutes, but double appointments can be booked for complicated problems. Appointments for medical examinations for insurance or employment may need longer, so please ask Reception to advise when booking.

Making Appointments Online

Patients may also make appointments using the internet. To use this facility, you need to enrol for on-line services at the EMIS-Access website. For security reasons, you have to first visit our Practice in person to obtain a registration form which contains your unique PIN number and gives instructions on how to register on the EMIS-Access website and obtain your username and password for the service.

Students are encouraged to contact their college nurse first when ill. She will then help and if necessary arrange an appointment to see one of the doctors. Please see her as early in the day as possible.

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.  Please telephone 01865 311234 to do this.
