Dr Laurence B Leaver (m)

Dr Laurence Leaver studied at Emmanuel College, Cambridge and then Green College (now Green Templeton College), Oxford, qualifying in 1991. Like all GPs in the practice he is a trained specialist in General Practice (family medicine) aiming to provide excellent holistic care to patients whatever their condition. He joined the practice in 1996. He has an additional interest in medical student education (he is the Associate Director of Pre-clinical Studies for Health & Welfare at Oxford University, and Senior Tutorial Fellow for clinical medicine at Green Templeton College). He is the practice lead for teaching, minor surgery and clinical commissioning. He normally works in the practice on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Dr Mark O'Shea (m)


Dr O'Shea studied at The University of Nottingham Medical School and qualified in 1997. He has a special interest in ENT, clinical genetics and student health. He is also lead for F2 training and child protection at the Practice.  He was previously a post-doctoral researcher in biochemistry.

Dr Joanna Lambert (f)


 Dr Joanna Lambert studied at The University of Birmingham, qualifying in 2009. Dr Lambert has a special interest in Sport and Exercise Medicine for which she has completed a Postgraduate Diploma from the University of Bath. She is also interested in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education.

Dr Sarah Stonehewer (f)

Dr Sarah Stonehewer is currently on maternity leave.

Dr Andrew Valentine (m)

Dr Andrew Valentine joined the Practice in January 2019. He works on Monday mornings and Wednesday morning, afternoon and evening.
